Please join us and share in the joy of what God has done. It wouldn't be complete without those who helped shape our story. Please plan to attend at least one if not all three days!!!
Schedule is below in the upcoming events. We hope to see you there.
August 7-9, 2026
Even in the heart of summer, God's Word continues to guide and encourage us. Our Bible studies are ongoing and we meet every Wednesday starting at 6:00 pm in the church fellowship room. Whether you've been attending or are just getting started, there is always a place for you to join.
Have you ever considered volunteering your time and helping with the Bible 2 School ministry but you have questions before you commit. The Laurel Highlands Bible 2 School are offering Discovery Events. The first one is Tuesday, July 21st from 10:30 - 11:30 am at the Johnstown Alliance Church. The second one is Tuesday, August 11th from 10:30 - 11:30 am at the Hammer St. Church of God in Portage.
This years plans for Vacation Bible School "Surprise Party" are going great!
VBS will be held the week of July 27th-31st, 2026 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm for children ages 4-12.

Lindsey Rolley will be collecting bibles for an outreach program for those suffering from addiction. If you have any bibles that you could donate to the ministry, bring them to church for Lindsey.
The choir will be off for the summer, with the exception - there will be a rehearsal on Sunday, August 2nd after the worship service to prepare for the anniversary celebration the following week.
Regular choir rehearsals will resume on Wednesday, September 9th at 7:00 pm. If you have musical talent and would be willing to share it with us, we would love to have you provide special music during a service sometime during the summer.
We would like to recognize our 2026 graduates. If you have a family member who graduated from high school, trade school, or college this year, please call the church office and let us know.
Belmont Church is bringing back a healthy practice. Blood pressures will be taken the first Sunday, after the service, in the Fellowship hall. Anyone in the congregation who is able to take a blood pressure is wanted and needed to be a part of this wellness ministry. The church has stethoscopes and blood pressure cuffs. You don't have to purchase them. If you have your own and want to use your own, you can do so. Kindly share your talent/skill once a month for the good and well being of our church community.
We at Belmont Church are excited because we have been seeing new faces in church. We welcome each and everyone! Belmont Church has a phone service that is called "Call-Em-All". We utilize this service to periodically make calls to announce upcoming events, worship reminders, or just about anything that needs to be shared with our flock. If you would like to have your phone number added to our list, please drop a note in the collection plate with your name and phone number, or call the church secretary at 814-266-3964 with your information. We promise that your phone number is kept confidential and is not shared with anyone.
Our adult Sunday School class resumed every Sunday at 9:00 am. Please consider attending Sunday School. This class is full of some very wonderful folks. We promise this will touch your life and help you grown as a Christian.
Keep in mind that Belmont Church is always collecting canned goods and non-perishable foods for the Moxham Food Pantry. The food pantry is a vital resource for many in our community. Everyone needs a helping hand at some point in their life. There are many people that do not know where their next meal is coming from. There is a table in the Narthex and one in the Fellowship Room downstairs. Thank you for your continued support. Summer time brings a strong need for children meals. There are children that loss the free or reduced lunches from school. Let's stock the shelves and help our locals in need.
If you would like to donate to the church, please send in a check or money order to
