Fundraiser - Little Dippers Dips
Beginning Sunday, August 17 to Sunday, September 7, 2025, we will be holding a new fund raiser selling Little Dippers Dips.
The dip mixes are easy to prepare and range from savory to sweet and will delight you and your guests. The cost is $6.00/dip mix packet.
Just add one or two ingredients to the mixes to create delicious dips, cheese balls, spreads, and marinades. You can use them to season pretzels, chex mix and crackers; or add them to a host of recipes for extra flavor that all will enjoy.
The company is based out of Ligonier and their products make entertaining so easy! The season packets make great gifts for birthdays and holidays, too!
Remember, football season is starting, and this would be a quick and easy thing to bring to your next Tailgate party! They would also be a great item for your next covered dish dinner!
Stop by the table in the Narthex and you can sample different dips and cheeseballs.

Operation Christmas Child
For the month of August we will be collection school supplies for the Operation Christmas Child shoe boxes. Please bring any donations to the church.
Laurel Highlands Bible 2 School Program
Volunteers are needed for the Laurel Highlands Bible 2 School Program. Bible 2 School is growing this year with many 5th and 6th grade classes at all 6 of their locations. Prayerfully consider volunteering your time to share God's word with children who have not heard about Jesus! New York at Christmas
Epic Journeys is offering a bus trip to New York City December 10-12, 2025 and they have seats available.. The trip package includes the bus, a ticket to the Radio City Music Hall Rockettes Christmas Show (not only the show but a backstage tour!), a tour of the 9/11 Memorial Museum, 2 nights lodging, 2 breakfasts, 1 dinner, just to name a few things. $829.00 per person double occupancy. Picture Directory
We really need to have a current picture directory. So, we need everyone to help. If you have a family or individual picture that you would like to share for in the directory, please email it to the church at Belmontccj@breezline.net. If you aren't sure how to email a photo, you can bring the photo into the church office and the secretary can make a copy of it. If you need a picture and would like someone here at the church take a picture for you, please call the church office to make arrangements to have a picture taken, 814-266-3964.
If possible, we would also like a "minute biography" to use along with your picture. If you would like to have help writing a few words about your family or yourself, please call Freddie Rummel or Valarie Easterbrook.
Liturgist - volunteers needed
We are seeking volunteers to serve as Liturgists for our worship services. Prayerfully consider serving the Lord in this way. Please call Ann Kyler or the church office at 814-266-3964 if you feel moved to help in this special way.
Membership Class
Pastor Tom is having a Membership Class. It is held at 2:00 pm on Sunday afternoons. If you are interested in attending, please call the church office at 814-266-3964.
Wellness Ministry
Belmont Church is bringing back a healthy practice. Blood pressures will be taken the first Sunday, after the service, in the Fellowship hall. Anyone in the congregation who is able to take a blood pressure is wanted and needed to be a part of this wellness ministry. The church has stethoscopes and blood pressure cuffs. You don't have to purchase them. If you have your own and want to use your own, you can do so. Kindly share your talent/skill once a month for the good and well being of our church community.
"Call-Em-All"
We at Belmont Church are excited because we have been seeing new faces in church. We welcome each and everyone! Belmont Church has a phone service that is called "Call-Em-All". We utilize this service to periodically make calls to announce upcoming events, worship reminders, or just about anything that needs to be shared with our flock. If you would like to have your phone number added to our list, please drop a note in the collection plate with your name and phone number, or call the church secretary at 814-266-3964 with your information. We promise that your phone number is kept confidential and is not shared with anyone.
Adult Sunday School
Our adult Sunday School class resumed every Sunday at 9:00 am. Please consider attending Sunday School. This class is full of some very wonderful folks. We promise this will touch your life and help you grown as a Christian.
Food Pantry
Keep in mind that Belmont Church is always collecting canned goods and non-perishable foods for the Moxham Food Pantry. The food pantry is a vital resource for many in our community. Everyone needs a helping hand at some point in their life. There are many people that do not know where their next meal is coming from. There is a table in the Narthex and one in the Fellowship Room downstairs. Thank you for your continued support.

OCC Shoebox Assembly Gathering: September 19th @ 10:00am
If you could spare some time to help assemble the shoeboxes it would be appreciated. This is a fun time of fellowship and many hands make light work.
Camp Allegheny Hayride - September 28th @ 4:00 pm
Join the Belmont Church Family at our Camp Allegheny Hayride on Sunday September 28th @ 4:00 pm. Following the hayride there will be a covered dish meal. This will be a wonderful way to relax and enjoy the beauty of fall. A sign-up sheet is available in the Narthex. (We also need a few volunteers that would rather not go on the hayride but instead help to get the covered dish ready). The camp is asking for a donation of $2.50 per person to attend.
